Drain Tools - Using an Auger

Toilet clogs often lodge in the internal trap. If you can't clear a clog with a plunger, insert the auger as far as possible, then rotate it clockwise while you push it deeper. If it stalls, turn it back and forth to clear the jam. Once you've run a few feet of auger down your toilet, take it out and use a plunger to help clear the debris. If the toilet still drains slowly, the main line is probably clogged.
